The History of the Ranch
The Rocking L Ranch has been a dream come true for us. Our love for horses and wildlife is what drew us to this paradise.
We purchased the ranch in 2004 and built the main barn in 2006. We opened a boarding stable that same year.
My love for teaching children to ride inspired me to become a certified riding instructor through the American Riding Instructors Association in 2007.
In the summer of 2007 we opened The Rocking L Ranch and Riding Center LLC and began to hold schooling sessions for children 8-12. These students went on to join our Ranch Riders Club, Drill Teams and become horse owners.
My full time (day job) as a Dental Hygienist and teaching the riding school on weekends and evenings became too much for me to handle on my own. In 2009 my daughter Ashley took the reigns of the ranch and became the manager and trainer of The Rocking L Ranch. Ashley was able to take what I started and expanded and improved the programs with her talents in business as well as her horsemanship skills and gift for teaching. We were so proud of her and the kids just loved her!
Ashley was recently married right here at the ranch to Josh Hall a City of Titusville Firefighter and Paramedic. Since becoming a wife, Ashley has now decided to pursue her career in Business Administration and has accepted a full time corporate job with Southeast Petro. Her new job will require her to travel and she will no longer be able to fulfill her full time managerial duties here at the ranch.
The decision was made at that time to close the operations of the riding school and boarding facility and sell or lease the property to another boarding business operation.
The ranch is now back under our management and will operate as a boarding facility offering full and partial board and private lessons. We have come full circle once again and are ready to continue where we left off providing a family fun and peaceful environment for horses and horse lovers like us to enjoy!
